Stepping Up

I've been tracking my calories for almost six months now. As annoying as it was at first to remember to write things down at first, now it's practically a habit now. It's given me a great look at how my body works. At first, I estimated that I burned 2500 calories a day, which I upped to 3000 as I got heavier.

Now, though, I'm working out regularly and working 40 hours a week; I'm burning more calories per day than ever. Thankfully, eating 3000 calories a day is becoming effortless, so I simply need to set my bar higher. I even have money again, now that I have that job. The trouble is, I have less time to eat than I used to.

I'm actively looking for new ways to fit more food into my diet. I wish I knew how some people can just unconsciously consume so much. What I need is a food mentor, of sorts--a reverse diet coach.

  1. No no no. You dont have to find time to eat, you have to eat higher calorie foods. Like cover everything with butter. Eat lots of butter and then stuff yourself with whipcream and just eat constantly. Drink 2 beers a night to have more calorie intake. Also, eat alot before you sleep because your body does not burn many calories while sleeping so it settles into fat and you get bigger. Also try using a weight gainer.

  2. Graze all day - peanuts are your friend. Drink a cup of cream before you go to bed (spike with kahlua?). Or make a gainer shake with that weight gain/protein powder, I think this will help you get the muscle gut hunky look rather than just being a fatty. Drink lots of sugary/caloric drinks to get all those calories (caffeine speeds your metabolism, so you burn calories faster, but you are also hungrier faster, so that's a wash i guess), but also try to bloat when you can to expand your food capacity - this will also make you hungrier. I think beer bloating works to make the ball gut/beefy effect rather than floppy saggy fat. Skipping breakfast might make you a lot hungrier (and more tired) later on in the day. Make time to eat! Snack while you watch TV or do work or keep a stash in the car. I'm sure you can find ways to pack it on. Establish a stuffing night with your boyfriend so he can encourage you to get extra big and cook your favorite meal or something. Keep it up!

  6. hmmm looks like some crazy mofo must be linking to your site, pete... haters go away.

i must say i do adore you and hope you stay healthy, but if you exercise and overeat i think you'll be just fit, fat, and superhot! focusing more on size rather than weight is probably a good idea.
